Marco Huck Donates his Gloves

The Captn´and his Glove

I was at a shopping mall anniversary where they had many bands playing during the day. To my surprise in between the band changes the host announces Marco Huck. “Marco Huck? The boxer! What the fa!”

Yes, it was he! Marco “CAPTN´” Huck! I was freaked!

I remember watching him in 2005 when I first came to Berlin and followed his career. He is presently Cruiserweight Champion of the world. He fights under Germany but is really, Yugoslavian (This is Berlin, Germany remember. Anything, anyone, can live here. I come under the anything category). Anyways, if you want to read more about The Captn´, here is the link: HERE LINK
Getting back on track! He was there to donate his gloves for charity! As I can recall the gloves went for 300€ and the giant gold glove for 200€. They had them on auction for the crowd who were present. The highest bidder was on his cell phone with a friend who was also bidding. It was a little funny because everyone had to be quiet to hear his friend say yes or no! To make a long story short, the caller won, and the friend had to pay!
Marcus Huck does what he wants to get his TKO (Technical Knock Out). He often gets into trouble with his trainer, Ulli Wegner, because he does not box. He fights! The last fight he had was a punishment for the American, Matt Godfrey! After the fight the commentator commented on his trainer being so upset in between rounds. All he said was “I knocked him out! I won!” Awe, to be young again!

Markus is definitely a cruiser BerlinBolide!

He will be defending his title on December 18, 2010 in the Max Schmelling Halle in Berlin.

I say it will end in 6 for the Captn´!

Peng! PengPeng!
